CRUM, HOWARD E.

Died at 1:25 p.m. Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Alexandria. Aged 74, he was a native of Amite County, Miss., a veteran of World War II, a member of Istrouma Methodist Church, a retired grocer, and a member of Nicholson Post 38 of the American Legion.

Services at Welsh Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park, with military rites at the graveside.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Addye Aldridge Crum, Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. T. A. Jackson, Mrs. Wallace Byrd and Mrs. Edwin Jackson, all of Gloster, Miss.; three brothers, H. I. and Marvin Crum, both of Gloster, and Hollis Crum, Magnolia, Miss., and numerous nieces and nephews.
