RITES HELD FOR BROOKHAVEN MEN
Howard Harrington, Charlie Clark Ars [sic Are] Buried In Lincoln County
BROOKHAVEN, Aug. 28 -- Last rites for Howard Harrington, 76, were held at the First Baptist church in Brookhaven with the Rev. J. A. Taylor officiating assisted by the Rev. A. F. Crittendon.
Mr. Harrington's passing came after a long illness and many months' confinement to his bed. He had long been a Brookhaven resident and was a consecrated member of the Baptist church.
Surviving him are his wife and seven children: Mrs. J. Q. Keith of Drew; Mrs. W. L. Bowers Jr. of Meridian; Gerald Harrington of New Orleans; James and Howard Harrington and Misses Elsie and Eunice Harrington of Brookhaven.
Pall bearers were Messrs. Joe L. Storm, Claude L. Bowen, F. E. Dennard, R. E. Day, Dr. O. N. Arrington, and Mayor R. B. Wall. Interment was conducted by the Masons at Rosehill cemetery.
