BEAVERS, HOWARD H.

Died at 1:25 a.m. Sunday, April 6, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was 74, a native of Winn Parish, a resident of Westwego and a veteran of World War I. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home. Religious services at 10:30 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Sullivan. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Lou Johnson Beavers, Westwego; one son, Joseph Edward Beavers, Kenner; four daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Ballard, Westwego; Mrs. Willie Dyskatara, Las Vegas; Mrs. Kathleen Blaw, Kenner, and Mrs. Joyce Floyd, Westwego; three brothers, Orley and John Ivy Beavers, both of Jena, and Ira Beavers, Pollock; four sisters, Mrs. Viola Peavey and Mrs. Vira Thornton, both of Trout; Mrs. Army Corley, Monroe, and Mrs. Myra Lofton, Nebo; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
