Howard Weaver
Funeral services for Howard H. Weaver were held Monday, February 26, 1990 at 3:30 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Laurel with the Rev. Bert Jones, Rev. Kenny Moore, Dr. Ed Young, and Dr. Larry Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Lake Park Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Weaver, 76, died Saturday, February 24, 1990, at South Central Regional Medical Center. The Laurel resident, formerly of Lake, was a retired manager of the Mississippi State Employment Service. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher and served as a deacon. He was a member of the Hamasa Temple of Meridian, a Mason, a Shriner and past president of the Rotary Club of McComb. He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Huff Weaver, Laurel; a brother, James B. Weaver, Franklin, KY; three sisters, Willie Mae Bunch, Montrose, Carolyn Nester, Lake, and Pat Brock, Lake.
Pallbearers were Reece Tillman, Johnny McLeod, Buck Sanderson, Robert Robinson, Michael Walker, and Kevin Cox.
