Hoytt A. Adcock, Sr.
October 29, 1920 - May 24, 2011
A native of Mead, OK and a resident of Denham Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his residence at the age of 90. He served and defended our country as a Master Sargent in the United States Army in New Guinea during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Adcock; daughter, Judy Ann Price and her husband Jim; sons, Hoytt Adcock, Jr and his wife Linda, Richard Adcock and his wife Angela, Tom Adcock and his wife Cindy; brother, William Adcock; grandchildren, Kim and Mark Sherman, Tera and Rhett Miller, Jennifer and Bobby Armstrong, Brian, Carrie, Robert, Melissa, Sean, Jacob and Angi, Crystal Adcock, Brandi Hanson, Kevin Spencer, James Price, Shannon and Troy Bozeman, Todd and Justin Price, Austin and Brandi Waguespack ; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Inez Adcock; 2 sisters; 4 brothers.
