FOREST -- Hubert H. Arinder, 72, a retired auto mechanic, died of a stroke Sunday at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Services are 2 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home with burial in Lorena Baptist Church Cemetery in Smith County.

Mr. Arinder was a Scott County native. He was a member of Lorena Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include: sons, Michael Arinder and Deckie Arinder, both of Forest; daughter, Betty Hines of Jackson; brother, Sidney Arinder of Seminary; sisters, Indianola Goodman and Pearl Nelson, both of Sumrall, and Dot Nix of Florence; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
