Huey Allen Guice
EPPS - Huey Allen Guice died Friday, April 30, 2004, in Epps. He was 68.
Born in Darnell, La., Mr. Guice was a resident of Epps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Eagleston [sic Eggleston] Guice and Mary Magdelene Duckworth Guice; five brothers, Buster Guice, Harry Guice, Hixon Guice, Jeff Guice and Cecil Guice; and two sisters, Dorothy Guice and Myrtle Duckworth.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lonnette Mathews Guice of Epps; a daughter, Cindy McGrew of Shreveport; two sons, Rip Guice and Jeff Guice, both of Epps; one brother, Jake Guice of Pioneer, La.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with the Rev. Alvin Stowe officiating. Burial will be at Bayou Macon Cemetery in Darnell.
Pallbearers will be Billy Sims, Larry Lusk, Bobby Mathews, Allen Wayne Cowart, John Hale and Roger Mathews.
