I. J. Wiggins

WINNSBORO -- Funeral services for I. J. Wiggins, 66, a former Franklin Parish Sheriff's deputy and Ward 7 police juror, were held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home here with Dr. Randall Sledge officiating.

Mr. Wiggins died Tuesday morning at Franklin Parish hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Wiggins, a native and life-long resident of Franklin Parish, was also a retired cotton classer and bookkeeper. A member of the Temple Baptist Church, he was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jewell P. Wiggins of Winnsboro; and one sister, Mrs. Cottie Lee Giglio of Winnsboro.

Pallbearers will be Mack Rogillio, John A. Cuney, R. F. Mulhearn, Joe Mulhearn, Ralph Waller, Pete Waller, Eugene Parker and James Mays.
