Mrs. Icie Majors Funeral Services to Be On Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Icie Bernice Majors, 81, 1007 SE 14th St. will be held Tuesday Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. A. C. Hamilton officiating and interment will be in the Sturdivant Cemetery with the Baum -Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Majors died in a local hospital at 9:22 p.m. Feb. 10, and she had been ill for the past two years. She was born June 1, 1896 in Parker County and had lived in Mineral Wells for a period of 45 years.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Virgie Fox, Mineral Wells; Mrs. Grady Breland, Azle; Mrs. Henry Bataline, Arlington; Mrs. James Hall, Ft. Worth; Mrs. Donald Holmes, Royal Oak, Michigan; sons, Albert Majors, Azle and Melvel Majors, Abilene; 9 grandchildren and 15 great -grandchildren. Her husband, the late Albert B. Majors, died in 1960. They were married Jan. 1, 1915 in Parker County. Mrs. Majors was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Pallbearers for the service will be Jerrell Christy, Neal Sprivey, Kenneth Evans, Penix Pilgrim, Frances Palmer and Robert Cabanis.
