Ida Van Langston

PANOLA, TX -- Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Langston, 95, will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Palmer, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 10, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Langston was born December 31, 1911 in Shreveport, LA to John and Ida Stuart. She passed away August 5, 2007 in Shreveport, LA after a brief illness.

Ida was a homemaker and a resident of Panola, TX; she attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Panola, TX.

Preceding Mrs. Langston in death were her parents; husbands, R.W. Eason, M.J. Crain and J.G. Langston; her son, Richard Warren Eason; granddaughter, Sarah Eason Schroeder; sisters, Oneita Camille, Ruth Simmons, Sarah Boshers, Johnette Wingert, Laverne Stuart, June Brown; brothers, Thomas and Harris Stuart;

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Stuart Eason; grandson, Dr. Stuart Eason and wife Suzanne, Richard Eason and wife Christine; daughter-in-law, Patsy Eason; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Eason, Elizabeth Eason, Phillip Eason, Katherine Eason, and Jessica Bush; sister-in-laws, Bernice Stuart and Katherine Stuart; her step-children, and step-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stuart Eason, MD, Richard Eason, Harry Simmons, David Simmons, PhD, Marvin Crain and Paul Jordan, MD.
