MRS. M. A. JONES 77 DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME NEAR REYNOLDS FRIDAY

Heart attack was attributed as the cause of the sudden passing of Mrs. M. A. Jones at her home near Reynolds at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 21.

Mrs. Jones, date of whose birth is given as of Sept. 6, 1873 was a life long resident of Taylor corunty [sic county], and before her marriage was Miss Ida Taunton, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jernigan Taunton. She was a member of the Reynolds Baptist church.

Funeral was conducted Saturday 4 p.m., with interment in Hill Crest cemetery, the following acting as pallbearers: Lewis Taunton, Roy Jones, William Keen, Charlie Horton, Jack Heath, Henry Hobbs with Goddard Funeral Home of Reynolds in charge of arrangements.

Besides hosts of devoted friends Mrs. Jones is survived by the following near relatives: Her husband, Mr. M. A. Jones, Sr., one son, M. A. Jones Jr., of Reynolds; three daughters, Mrs. Lucile Carter, of Reynolds; Mrs. Grace Beeland, Warner Robins; and Miss Elizabeth Jones, Atlanta; and seven grandchildren and two great grand children.
