Marie Aldridge
Passed away on March 19, 2007 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on November 2, 1925 in Kaufman, Texas to Charles and Altha Hawthorne. Marie was a faithful and devoted member of the Berean Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Marie is survived by her son, Gary Michael Maughn and wife, Carla; daughter, Donna Gomez; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter; sister, Louise Latham; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 27 years, Elton Royce Aldridge, who was a WWII veteran; son, Robert Don Maughn; daughter, Vicky Joe Maughn; parents; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Roselawn Memorial Chapel in Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Roselawn Funeral Home.
