NATCHITOCHES -- Services for Ineeta E. Prothro will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Shaver officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery under direction of Blanchard St. Denis, Natchitoches.
Prothro, 85, of Natchitoches died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, in Christus Schumpert Health Care Center, Shreveport.
She was a native of Pollock, member of the First Baptist Church, Natchitoches, Natchitoches Chapter #13 Order of the Eastern Star and Natchitoches Parish Hospital Pink Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired nurse and volunteer worker for the Lov'n Care Mission, Natchitoches. She was a member of South Cane River Homemakers Association, Association of the Preservation of Historic Natchitoches and the Young Heart Club.
Survivors include a son, Joseph David Basco of Cerritos, Calif., a daughter, Barbara Snow of Natchitoches three brothers, John Brown Lincecum of Georgetown, Bill and Clifton ``Skinny'' Lincecum both of Natchitoches four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Graham, Dr. Eddie White, Tom Murchison, Dr. Jerry Ferguson, Noble Flenniken, Terry Stroud and Dwayne Steadman.
Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of service.
