Died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1982, at Baptist Hospital, Jackson, Miss. She was 64, a native and resident of Gloster, and resident of Zachary for 37 years.
Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, from 3 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Religious services at New Hope Methodist Protestant Church, Gloster, at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Alton Meggs. Burial in church cemetery.
Survived by her husband, the Rev. Marsette Temple, Gloster; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret T. Usry, Mrs. Janet Faye Mackey and Mrs. Belinda T. Beard, all of Zachary; a brother, Robert Edwin Day, Natchez; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lee McTeague, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Loretta Guthrie, Louisville, Miss., and Mrs. Geraldine Bateman, Baker; 10 grandchildren, Terry and Mary Usry, Jan Smith, Theresa Mathews, Jeffrey, Bobby, Todd and Tracy Mackey and Sonja and Darren Beard; and four great-grandchildren, Dustin Smith, Amber and Lindsay Usry and April Mackey.
Preceded in death by her brother, Benton Day, a sister, Jensey Klefs Day, and a great-grandchild, Brad Smith.
Pallbearers will be Harold Wells and her grandchildren.
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Protestant Church, Baker.
