Ira D. Ware Dies on Way to Dairy Monday

Unconsious from exposure and exhaustion, Ira. D. Ware, blacksmith and for many years a resident of Klamath county, died five minutes after he was discovered at 9:16 by a train crew.

Ware had evidently been walking along the tracks toward Dairy when he fainted one-half mile west of Moyena on the O. C. & E. railroad. He was discovered by engineer Roy Tyrell and conductor Al Peterstiner, enroute to Bly, who gave aid until his death and called Dr. G. S. Newsom. It was found that Ware's feet were frozen and inquiry revealed that he had been drinking.

Mr. Ware is survived by a wife and several children living in California. They have been notified.
