ROSEFIELD -- Services for Ira Cassels will be at 3 p.m. today in Rosefield Baptist Church with the Rev. Joel Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Young's, Ferriday.

Mrs Cassels, 68, of Olla died Wednesday in Rapides General Hospital, Alexandria. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Olla, and a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred Felson Cassels of San Diego, Calif., and Johnny Lamar Cassels of Summerville; five daughters, Rose Marie Ganey, Brenda Gayle Taylor and Theresa Lynnette Jameson, all of Olla, and Anita Margaret Harrell and Janet Lee Bratton, both of Ball; one brother, Alfred Holmes of Tallulah; four sisters, Cleora Cassels of Rosefield, Lola Gough of Reno, Nev., Rowena Adams of Tallulah and Eunice Douglas of Grayson; 36 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services today in the church.
