Irby McDaniel

Funeral services for Irby McDaniel, 69, of Carthage, were held Tuesday, May 15, at the Hawthorn chapel with the Rev. John Hill Williams, the Rev. Mickey Fugitt, and the Rev. Billy Shoffner officiating.

Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. McDaniel died Sunday, May 13, at Panola General Hospital. He had worked as a carpenter.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Effie McDaniel of Gladewater; one daughter, Mrs. Lois Rousseau of Lake Charles, La.; one brother, J. C. McDaniel of Wilmer and one sister, Mrs. Daisy Hughes of Longview.
