Irene Ellen Bishop, 80, of Moss, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, with burial in Moss Memory Gardens Cemetery in Moss.
She was retired and was a housewife and loving mother. She was a member of Moss Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Emma Good, and husband, E.L. Bishop.
She is survived by a daughter, Carrie Lynn Arrington of Moss; two grandsons, Tom Lowe of Mobile, Ala., and Kenny Lowe of Laurel; two great-grandsons, Hunter Lowe and Cody Lowe; a very dear friend, Marie Bufkin of Moss; and a loving caregiver, Shirley Jenrette of Laurel.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Ray Smith, Danny Bufkin, Peyton Bufkin, Lex Windham, Mark Windham and Randy Windham. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Graham and Larry Mauldin.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
