MONTGOMERY -- Services for Irene Chandler Jones will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Harlon officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bentley under direction of Hix[s]on Brothers.
Mrs. Jones, 94, of Colfax, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in Grant Manor Nursing Home, Colfax.
She was a native of Colfax and widow of the late W.H. Jones.
Survivors include one son, Leeland Jones of Lake Charles; one daughter, Erna Bell Hughes of Montgomery; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Coleman of Colfax and Clara Lolly of Shreveport.
Friends may call at the church today until the time of services.
