Wisner Lady Passed Away On Last Tues.

Wisner, La.---Mrs. Iris Judson Magee, 61 died Tuesday, October 6th very suddenly following a prolonged illness.

Mrs. Magee was born at Meadville, Miss. on April 8, 1875, and moved to Wisner twenty-five years ago.

She was a devout member of Central Baptist church west of Wisner. She was considered by neighbors in the rural community near here where she lived prior to moving to Wisner several months ago as one of the best neighbors known. She was always ready and willing to render assistance to any neighbor in trouble.

She is survived by four sons, T. K. Magee, of Baskin, W. M. Magee of Winnsboro, L. L. Magee of Crowville and Mint Magee of Wisner; four daughters, Sadie Magee, Mrs. W. F. Watson, Mrs. C. C. Hopkins and Mrs. Sam Oliver of Wisner and her mother, Mrs. Jennie Walker of Eddiceton, Miss.

Funeral services were held at the Wisner Baptist church with Rev. T. J. Ratcliff officiating with interment in the Oakley cemetery near Gilbert.

Pallbearers were: Leon McLemore, Travis Bass, R. M. Graves, Jake Humble, Claude Watson, Joe Furr, Lawrence Rayburn and Major Batey.
