BRANDON -- Irma Bazoon Woods, 93, a homemaker, died of heart failure Thursday at River Oaks Hospital.

Services are 2 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation is 12:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Woods was a McComb native and lived most of her life in the Jackson area. She was a member of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school.

She was currently a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughters, Dorothy Lowe and Clyde Lynelle Thomas, both of Jackson, Rose Powers of Lexington and Virginia King of Brandon; and 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the music ministry at Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson.
