IRMA H. MIDDLETON
Irma H. Middleton, 90, of Laurel, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, at Crestview Cemetery in Laurel. The Rev. Ed Bullock will officiate.
A homemaker, she was a member of West Laurel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Middleton Sr., in 1980; four brothers, Vernon Holston, Irvin Holston, Claude Holston and Simpson Holston; and two sisters, Vera Moss and Virginia Blakeney.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charley and Janet Middleton of Laurel; three grandchildren, Margo M. Robinson and husband Mike of Laurel, Chuck Middleton and wife Susie of Laurel and Tracy Soley and husband Johnny of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; five great-grandchildren, Emily Robinson, Sarah Robinson, Chaz Middleton, Brock Soley and Lauren Soley; one brother, M.D. “Shorty” Holston of Ellisville; two sisters, Ora H. Ellzey of Laurel and Vinnie H. Ezell of Hattiesburg; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Byrd, Billy Montgomery, Chuck Middleton, Mike Robinson, Johnny Soley and R.P. Wooten. Honorary pallbearers will be Byron McBride, L.C. “Red” Myers and Howard Ellzey.
Memorials may be made to West Laurel United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until service time Sunday, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel which is in charge of arrangements.
