WEIGLE, IRMA M., resident of Eureka, Oct. 8, 1976. She was the wife of L. Carl Weigle, Eureka; mother of the late Laloie Weigle, Eureka; sister of Dale Wagoner [sic Wagner], San Francisco; aunt of Jean Young, San Bruno; aunt of Betty Whittom, Newark. She leaves two nephews, Keith Wagoner [sic Wagner], North Carolina and Harold Wagoner [sic Wagner], San Bruno.
Mrs. Weigle was a native of Eureka, age 84. She had made her home here all of her life, and she was a 50-year member of Camellia Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of the Order of Woodcraft, the First Congregational Church, and a life member of the Humboldt County Historical Society. Mrs. Weigle was a co-founder of the Friendship Club in 1913, and was active in numerous card clubs in the area. For many years she taught piano lessons.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Pierce Mortuary, Seventh and H Streets, Eureka, Tuesday, October 12, 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. Hood Snavely, officiating. Interment will be at Ocean View Cemetery.
[Pall] Bearers will be Al Holland, Lew Marsh, Jack Gilmore, Henry Hindley, Vic DeCarli, Ray Haley, Emmel Watson, Merle Johnson, Ellis Kelly.
Friends may call at the chapel, Monday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
