Ike Emmons

Funeral services were held for Ike Emmons, 67, at 10 a.m. May 12, in Ardoin Funeral Home chapel.

The Rev. B. L. Clark, pastor of First United Pentecostal Church officiated. Burial was in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Mr. Emmons was a native of Mamou and had lived in Kinder for 11 years. He was a retired mechanic and a World War II veteran.

Survivors are one son, David Emmons, one daughter, Mrs. Claudia Evers of Mountain View, Wyo.; two sisters, Mrs. Ivy Cady of Grant and Mrs. Hazel Gilley of Kinder, and nine grandchildren.
