*Isham B. STRANGE was mislisted as Harrison B. STRANGE in the 1860 census
for Jackson Parish, LA. His obituary and tombstone give his date of
birth as 13 DEC 1848, which conflicts with that for his
brother, William Gordon STRANGE. Isham's true birth year of 1851 is
corroborated by his absence in the 1850 census for Jackson Parish, LA
and by his given age in the 1860, 1870, and 1920 censuses. His
reported age of 90 years at death may have been unintentionally
exaggerated.
