Isom Lee MCDANIEL
ISOM LEE McDANIEL, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 18, 2006, in Wilkins Nursing Center.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Ray of Hope Church with the Rev. Mike McCord, Dow Pannell and Steve McCord officiating. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
Isom was born March 18, 1915, in Ringling, to Woody and Edna Jones McDaniel. He and Margaret Ann Schnable were married in San Saba, Texas, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 4, 2004. He was a faithful member of Ray of Hope Church, and retired from Halliburtonn after many years of service.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Glenna and Jim Gray of Duncan, and Anna Lea and Fred McCord of Comanche; seven grandchildren, Dr. Courtney Gray-McGuire and husband David of Twinsburg, Ohio, Jimmie Gray of Duncan, Diane Houseman and husband Todd of Dunlap, Ill., Mike McCord and wife Cary, and Steve McCord and wife Tina, all of Comanche, Charlene Sears and husband Kevin of Duncan, and Lovetta McCord of Lawton; two brothers, Bill McDaniel of Duncan, and Ernest McDaniel of California; a sister, Etta Mehring of Florida; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Guy McDaniel and Woodrow McDaniel; three sisters, Helen Young, Ruby Horton and Lola Gray; and three great-grandsons, Nathan McCord, Kody and Freddie Kyle Sears.
