Funeral services for Rev. Issac O. “Rass” Dunn, age 90, of Grayson were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 1997 from the Springhill Baptist Church at Kelly with Rev. Julius Russell and Rev. J. D. Enterkin officiating. Interment followed in the Roberts Cemetery at Kelly with services under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Rev. Issac Orestes “Rass” Dunn was born on July 13, 1906 in Caldwell Parish to the union of Walter Smith and Annie Holmes Dunn. Rev. Dunn passed away on March 18, 1997 at the Columbia Heights Nursing Center in Columbia following an extended illness. Rev. Dunn was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church in Kelly.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Norma Moak Dunn of Columbia; four sons, Harold Dunn of Bastrop, Eddie Dunn of Grayson, Jack Dunn of West Monroe, and Kenneth Dunn of Kelly; one daughter, Bonnie Williams of Grayson; one sister, Ruth Rogillio of Grayson; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
