Mrs. Ivy E. Cady
Funeral services for Mrs. Ivy Emmons Cady, 85, will be at 9 a.m.
today, Feb. 18, in Hixson Funeral Home.
Additional services will be at 2 p.m. today in Palestine Baptist Church
in Grant. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in Grant under the
direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 8 a.m.
Mrs. Cady died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, in a local hospital.
A native of Mamou, she had lived in Lake Charles most of her life. She
was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Westlake.
Survivors include two sons, Elwood R. Cady Jr. of Portland, Texas,
and Michael N. Cady of San Antonio; one daughter, Martha Fontenot
of Westlake; one sister, Hazel Gilley of Odessa, Texas; 15
grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 30
great-great-grandchildren.
