Ivy Norah Carraway
Ivy Norah Carraway, 84, of Liberty, died Nov. 24, 2003, at Liberty Community Living Center.
Visitation continued from 11 a.m. today at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Smithdale until services there at 2 p.m, with the Rev. James Sadler officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Brown Funeral Home in Liberty is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Carraway was born April 16, 1919, in Amite County. She was the daughter of Jordan Whittington and Rhoda Coleman Whittington.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Smithdale.
Mrs. Carraway was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Earl Carraway; and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ann C. and John Stevens Jr. of Liberty; three grandchildren, Chad Stevens and his wife Darri, and Amanda S. Brabham and her husband Brad, all of Liberty, and Chanda S. Carter of Lenexa, Kan.; and six great-grandchildren, Charli Ann and Olivia Stevens, Dylan Elizabeth Carter, and Alison, Giles and Bryce Brabham.
