J. B. Mosley
Funeral services for J. B. Mosley were held at 10 a.m. Saturday,
January 6, 2001 in the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. C.
Smith, and Rev. Homer Bailes officiating. Burial was in the
Chatham Cemetery located on Hwy. 4.
Mr. Mosley, age 79 of Chatham, LA died Thursday, January 4, 2001
in the St. Francis Medical Center.
Mr. Mosley was a member of Chatham United Methodist Church. He was
a retired forester from Tremont Forestry and Crown Zellerback. He
served in the Civilian Conservation Corp. and was an Army Veteran
of WW II.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Garry Lane Mosley, Jr.
(Rocky).
Survivors are his wife, Bernice Mosley of Chatham, LA; four sons
and daughters-in-law, Garry Mosley and wife Pam, Jerry Mosley and
wife Reanee, Roy D. Mosley and wife Cheryl, all of Weston, LA and
Wayne Mosley and wife Glenda of Chatham, LA; five grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Pat Bosch, Bobby Greer, Eugene Harper, Tim
Hogan, Bobby Otwell, Barry Ryals, Nelson Spillers, and Chet
Tidwell.
