Jack D. Miller Is Buried At Old Union August 22

Funeral services for Jack Dunn Miller, 52, of Joyce, who died at his home August 20, after a lengthy illness, were held at the Old Union Baptist Church at 10 a.m. August 22. The Rev. Willie James, pastor, officiated.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

A native of Winn Parish, Mr. Miller was an employee of the Winn Rock, Inc., and a veteran of World War Two.

The survivors are his widow; three sons, John, David, Garland, and Jack Ricky, all of Winnfield; one daughter, Mary of Winnfield; three brothers, Lawson of Price, Texas, Walter of Joyce, and Richard of New Iberia; four sisters, Mrs. H. A. Lane and Mrs. A. E. Oglesby, both of West Monroe, Mrs. J. C. Whisenant of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. R. W. Collins of Tulsa, Okla.
