Jack R. McCart, Jr.
September 23, 1934 - September 29, 2011

Jack R. McCart, Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011. Jack moved to Jacksonville in 1959 and opened a service station that later grew to Arlington Salvage and Wrecker, which became one of the largest towing companies in the Southeast. He was a member of the Arlington Masonic Lodge #309 F & AM.

Jack is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Shirley; 2 daughters, Tracey Brown (Greg), Jackie Griesemer (Doug); 2 sons, Terry McCart (Laurie), Mark McCart (Allison); he was a proud "Papa" to 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Edna Wright, Annette Mears; 3 brothers, Bob, Joe and Larry McCart; numerous nieces, nephews and friends and will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 3rd, in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, with Rev. Harvey Hahn, officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
