Died 7 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at Jo Ellen Smith Medical Center. She was a retired secretary for the Department of Motor Vehicles. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home chapel, 9595 Florida Blvd., 12:30 p.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Jim Bain. Entombment in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Survived by a daughter, Goldia Cherrilei Hoover, Branson, Mo.; two grandsons, Vernon Gaudin and wife, Elaine Gaudin, and Brent Hoover; and four grandchildren, Max Gaudin, Jordan Riley, Alex Gaudin and Lauren Gaudin.
Preceded in death by a sister, Sally Hair; two brothers, Goldie H. and Vira H. Hair; and a son-in-law, Donald Hoover.
She was a member of Istrouma Baptist Church.
