JACOB J. BROGAN
Jacob J. Brogan, 84, Gulfport, brother of former Jones Sheriff Steve Brogan and Mike Brogan, both of Laurel, died from injuries sustained when he was hit by a train as he walked across railroad tracks in Gulfport Wednesday. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.
Funeral services will be from Memory Chapel Friday, 2:30 p.m.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by four brothers, Steve and Mike Brogan, Laurel; Russell Brogan, Denver, Colo.; and Tom Brogan, Colorado Springs, Colo.
Memory Chapel is in charge.
