HARRINGTON BURIAL

HAZLEHURST, March 13 -- Funeral services will be held at Brookhaven Saturday morning for Chalmers W. Harrington, aged 59, who died suddenly Thursday night following a heart attack at his home here, with his pastor, Rev. George P. White, First Baptist church, officiating, with interment in the family plot in city cemetery.

Mr. Harrington was known to all his friends as “Jake”, and had been a valued employee of a large mercantile firm here for the past nine years. Mr. Harrington attended to his duties all day Thurday without complaint, was stricken about 11 o'clock and died suddenly. He was a devout member of the Baptist church, a generous, quiet and friendly man, who had a wide circle of friends and no one ever displayed a sweeter spirit.

Surviving is a brother, Pat Harrington, Brookhaven, and a sister, Mrs. Lambright, Goose Creek, Texas, and several nieces.
