Jake Lively

Graveside services for Jake Lively, 87, of Galveston, and formerly of Grapeland, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Park with the Rev. Donald Lewis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Mr. Lively died Sunday at his residence in Galveston.

He was born Jan. 10, 1918 in Percilla, Texas to Bert and Martha Rich Lively.

Mr. Lively was an accountant. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II.

Mr. Lively was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie Lewis Lively of Galveston; a daughter, Brenda Kay Keele of Galveston; and a son, Roger Neil Lively of Dripping Springs; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice.
