Hosey Rites

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday for J. A. Hosey, 42 year-old father of 10, who died of a self-inflicted bullet wound Saturday afternoon.

Hosey wounded a Magee doctor, threatened two others, and killed himself in the Magee business district Saturday.

Services were held from the Dry Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Hegwood and Rev. C. O. Lindsey officiating. Interment was made in the Dry Creek church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lunell Everett Hosey, six sons, John H., Manuel, James, Billy Dale, Charles T. and Gayle Eugene; four daughters, Lena May, Anna May, Fanny May, and Betty Nell; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hosey; and three brothers, Ernest, Robert, and Obbie, all of Magee.
