James A. Weaver, Cobuilder Dallas Mill, Passes Away

James A. Weaver of Midlothian, president of the Midlothian Oil & Gin Company and who, with others, built the Planters' Cottonseed Oil Mill here, died Saturday at Cleveland, Ohio, where he recently underwent an operation.

Weaver for a time lived at Dallas. E. L. Flippen, Weaver, the late Louis Lipsitz of Dallas and Claude Wiley of Tyler built the Planters' mill, located east of Fair Park.

The Midlothian Oil & Gin Company operates about fifteen gins at various places and also operates a cottonseed oil plant at Midlothian.

Surviving Weaver are his wife; his father, Frank Weaver of Fort Worth; two brothers, Rod Weaver of Lamesa and Jewel Weaver of Fort Worth, and a sister, Mrs. Katie Weaver Rose.
