JAMES R. BALDWIN

An elderly citizen of Cohay Community, Route 2, Raleigh, James R. Baldwin, 90, a retired farmer died at his residence Thursday afternoon.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from Salem Baptist Church, near Cohay, with the Rev. E. W. Young and the Rev. Quinon Floyd officiating. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery with Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The body lies at the residence while awaiting funeral rites.

Surviving are six sons, S. W. Baldwin, Raleigh, T. J. Baldwin and Mack Baldwin, both of Jackson, Pet Baldwin, Homer Baldwin and Ethel Baldwin, all of Laurel; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Maddox, Raleigh, Mrs. Annie Starling, Jackson, Mrs. Lyda Mensch, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Eunice Wardell, Jackson; 27 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
