James “Jim” C. Cater
October 18, 1951 - January 30, 2013

Graveside service for James “Jim” C. Cater, 61, of Crockett was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Cindy Doran officiating. Mr. Cater was born October 18, 1951 in Angelina County to the late Bill and Maxine Cater of Burke and passed away January 30, 2013 in a local hospital after attaining the age of 61 years, 3 months, and 12 days.

Jim enjoyed spending time gardening and sharing his crop with family and friends, hunting, fishing and riding the back roads of Houston County. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his aunt, Uba Lee Davis of Burke; several nieces and a nephew; many friends and hunting buddies.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by, his sister, Linda Cater Isreal of Pasadena.
