STROUD FUNERAL

The funeral of James Claude Stroud, 48, employe of state highway department, who dropped dead at his work Monday morning, was held this afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at the family home, 3708 Dick Taylor street. Rev. L. T. Hastings, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiated. Following the services at the residence, the body was taken to Amity church, where the interment took place.

Surviving are the widow and the following children: Fred Stroud, Monroe; Mrs. Ralph Walters, Rayville; Mrs. W. B. Awl, Miss Edna Stroud and Edward Stroud, all of Monroe.
