By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Ten persons died in weekend accidents in Louisiana, including five in traffic, two in a fire and three drownings.

A two-car collision on the U.S. Hwy. Bridge over Lake Pontchartrain killed four persons Saturday. Killed in one car were James D. Emmons, 31, of Metairie, and his wife, 27; and her mother, Mrs. Lawrence P. Davis, 57, of Baton Rouge. Victim in the other auto was E. J. Huff Jr., 36, of Harvey in Jefferson Parish.

An auto ran off a highway Sunday and plunged into Black Lake near Natchitoches, drowning three Negroes in the car. They were R. L. Taylor, 35; Shirley Hudson, 10; and 4-month-old Dennis Bradford, son of Mrs. Fred Bradford who was driving but managed to get out of the vehicle. Apparently, all were from Natchitoches. The car struck and injured two teenaged boys who were fishing on the bank of the lake.

10-YEAR-OLD

Fire swept through a home Saturday in Acadia Parish near Church Point, burning to death William Mahar and his 10-year-old son, Fred.

An auto struck and killed Denise Lopez, 20-month-old Negro, when she ran into the street from between parked cars Sunday in New Orleans.
