JAMES D. McDONALD

DELHI, Aug. 21 (Special) -- James D. McDonald, 86, died at the Veterans hospital early Sunday, and funeral services were held at the Epps Methodist church at 3 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. I. J. Ikard of Oak Grove officiating. Burial will be in the Epps cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn funeral home of Delhi.

Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emmie McDonald and eight daughters, Mrs. Hazel Holley, of Pioneer; Mrs. Bessie Copes of Pioneer; Mrs. Irene Bible of Delhi; Mrs. Mary Hayes of Delhi; Mrs. Dorothy Sawyer of Dallas; Mrs. Adrienne Ward of Dallas; Mrs. Gloria Morgan, Flagstaff, Ariz.; and Mrs. Eloise Brown of Fort Worth; two sons, J. D. McDonald, Jr., of Mesquite, Tex., and J. L. McDonald of Dallas, and seventeen grandchildren.
