JAMES EDWARD CAMPBELL

James Edward Campbell, 77, died Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at King's Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City.

Visitation is 5-7:30 p.m. today at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Fletchers Chapel Cemetery in Yazoo County. Rev, Bryan Abel will officiate.

Mr. Campbell was born September 28, 1928 in Sunflower County to his parents, Tommy C. Campbell and Nola Crick. He co-owned Campbell Air Conditioning and was a retired LP. Gas Technician from Yazoo Butane Co. He was a member of Silver City Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor G. Campbell of Yazoo City; son, Posy Campbell of Yazoo City; daughter, Bonnie Atkinson of Brandon; Brother, Malcolm Campbell of Laurel; sister, Mary Campbell of Mustang, Oklahoma; and 4 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are; Benjamin James Campbell, Allen Thomas Campbell, Christopher Ray Atkinson, Tommy Lancaster, Tim Saxton, and Jerry Childs. Honorary pallbearers are; Willie Maples, Willie Hugh Ward, Sidney Harber, David Pugh, Clifton Pigg, Randy Hill, Wallace Outlaw, James Kelly, and Huston Allen, Sam Manning, and Bookeeping Staff.
