Bill Henderson

WINNFIELD -- Services for Bill Henderson will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern with Elder Leland Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Winnfield City Cemetery.

Henderson, 75, of Joyce died Tuesday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Pineville.

He was a native of Georgetown and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was also a retired electrician.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Henderson of Joyce; two sons, Tommy Henderson and Emery “Billy” Henderson, both of Joyce; one daughter, Dolores Gay of Santa Fe, Texas; three brothers, Jack Henderson and Lyndon “Judge” Henderson, both of Winnfield, and Kendal Henderson of Downsville; one sister, Peggy Henderson of Winnfield; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Thursday in the funeral home.
