HOLLENDALE, Mississippi -- James Fenmore Cooper, 81, of Halley (Desha County) died Tuesday at a hospital here. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Benzie Slaughter Cooper; a son, H. L. Cooper of Halley; two daughters, Mrs. H. L. Wagnon and Mrs. James Ware, both of California; a sister, Mrs. Tommye Kesterson of Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at the Halley Baptist Church. Burial was in Halley Cemetery by Dupwe and Sons Funeral Home of McGehee.
