JAMES F. CROSBY

WINTER HAVEN (Special) -- James Franklin Crosby, 69, was killed in a traffic accident near Brandon Wednesday. He was a native of Elba, Ala., and had lived here since September, 1960. He was a retired car salesman, a veteran of both World Wars and was a member of Winfield Scott VFW Post 2193, of Maywood, Ill.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vernile W. Crosby; a daughter, Mrs. W. G. Vandersee, Northlake, Ill.; a son, James A. Crosby, Tampa; a sister, Mrs. Mary Harrison, Floral, Ala.; two halfsisters, Mrs. Lois Parker, Huntsville, Ala., and Mrs. Nell Ganskopp, Sidney, Australia; a half brother, E. W. Crosby Jr., Elba, and two grandchildren.
