ROLEN, James Frazer,79, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, AL, died Sunday, August 6, 1995. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 1995, at 4:00 p.m., from Leak-Memory Chapel. Burial will be in Oakwood Annex Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Bogan Rolen; one son, James Frazer Rolen, Jr. and his wife, Karen Marshall Rolen; two grandchildren, Katherine O'Neal Rolen, and James Frazer Rolen, III; one brother, David Zack Rolen.
Mr. Rolen attended Auburn University in Auburn and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. Also a veteran of WWII, having served in the Corps of Army Engineers in the Second Engineering Special Brigade of Amphibias War Fare. Among his many metals is a purple heart. Mr. Rolen was retired from the State of Alabama Highway Department and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be James J. Britton, Ben B. Mabson, G.W. Hause, W. Taylor Morrow, Alva Ray, Harry E. Snow, W. Hobson Skinner, III, Ben Walker and Homer McGough.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church or to Baptist Hospital Foundation.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at Leak-Memory Chapel.
