James Glen Mott
Services for James Glen Mott, 54, of Columbia were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 1995 from the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Bob McIlwain and Rev. M. C. Cady officiating. Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery west of Clarks.
Mr. Mott was born in Hebert on May 7, 1941 and died Tuesday, December 12, 1995 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.
He was a welder with Arethusa Offshore Drilling Company. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Mott.
Survivors include: his wife, Betty Jo May Mott of Columbia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Mike Pollard of Kelly, Stacey and Steven Thibodeaux of Eunice, and Tracie and Brent Bryant of Monroe; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Gunn Mott of Hebert; his brother, Gary Mott of Hebert; his sister, Ginger Haynes of Hebert; and his grandchildren, Tara, Daniel, Courtney, Brittany, and Nicholas.
Pallbearers were: Nigel Milner, Jim Stuart, David Deville, Dale Maxwell, Jimmy Turner, and Bruce Mosher.
