James H. Clark
James H. Clark, age 81, of Semmes, AL and a native of Richton, MS went to be with his Lord and Savior the 2nd day of May 2011 at a local hospital. Mr. Clark was a 23 year Naval retiree, having served on many ships during his Naval career and was stationed in various ports throughout the world.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Seabie Clark of Richton, MS, one son, Ronald J. Clark of Savannah, GA and one son-in-law, Mitchell L. Walley of Richton, MS.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Paula Reed Clark of Semmes, AL, one son, Stephen Clark of Orlando, FL, four daughters, Joanna (Carl) Hazzard of Semmes, AL, Helen Walley of Richton, MS, Debbie (Bruce) Buck of Mobile, AL and June Clark of Semmes, AL. He was blessed with one grandson, Casey (Rebekah) Clark of Orlando, FL and four granddaughters, Paula Beasley of Semmes, AL, Jamee Beasley of Semmes, AL, Charity (Evan) Craft of Richton, MS and Leslie (Aaron) Baldridge of Columbus, GA. His legacy will continue with the blessings of seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 12 noon with Dr. Jay Robertson officiating. Visitation will be 10 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Pine Crest West in Mobile, AL.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society, together we can find a cure.
